Today was the big day for two of our favorite people on the face of the planet!

Our very own Tom Neville married his soul mate Cindy in a beautiful ceremony followed by an equally elegant reception.

The party went down at one of our favorite spots, Arnaldo’s Banquet & Conference Center in Riverview, MI. There were so many beautiful moments about this night that it was impossible to capture them all. The night would only get longer because Brett and his wife had to leave the party a little early to get to the hospital. Little Breanna could get here soon!

CONGRATULATIONS again to Cindy & Tom! We wish you a life of love and happiness!

Less is more, I always say.

This was one of the most quaint and adorable weddings I’ve played in a  long time. The number of guests was small but the amount of energy was awesome! From start to finish, this night was simple, sweet, and elegant. The bride and groom kept it very low key which was a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of bigger weddings.

I got to play at Arnaldo’s of Riverview again. Such a nice group of people to work with, the folks at Arnaldo’s are top notch. I would encourage anyone in the downriver area to consider this place for your next event. They’re professionals and really know what they’re doing.

There were no formal introductions, no toasts, and no big speeches. The most elegant part of it all was that after dinner I was able to introduce the bride and groom to the dance floor to share in their first dance as husband and wife. Kaitlin and Richard danced to “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri.

And that was it. No big bells and whistles. No big raucous event.

Thank you for letting me share your beautiful and elegant, special day with you.

By far, Camille & Russel are our most tech-savvy couple yet.

AND, this was our first time playing at the beautiful Arnaldo’s Banquet Center in Riverview, MI. The event was set in an elegant combination of red, white, and black.

The bridal party entered to "Forever" by Chris Brown. The bride and groom changed the pace and entered to Bruno Mars’ song “Marry Me.”

One of the coolest things we’ve seen so far happened right before the dancing and after dinner. The bride put together a wedding “trailer” video along with a slideshow created with iMovie. We love creativity and this was certainly a highlight of the night. In fact, check the earlier post…we shared their wedding trailer on the blog.

After the slideshow and trailer, the bride and groom shared their first dance to "I Won’t Give Up" by Jason Mraz. The bride and her father danced to "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle and the groom and his mother danced to “Just the Way You Are” by Billy Joel.

The crowd was hot all night long! It was a modest-sized group, but the certainly knew how to have a good time!

And the biggest added bonus for us is that we got to work with our friend Shon Murphy and Fairytale Productions again. They were on hand to document the night with amazing video production talent. It was a pleasure to work with them again!

Congrats to the new bride and groom. Thanks for letting us share in your big night!
