They’re few and far between, but this was a double weekend for us. What better way to celebrate then with friends!

Katy and Justin booked us when they saw us at Leeann and Kurt’s wedding just months before. And that’s why we do what we do. We’ve said it before, but referrals are the biggest way to keep this business going.

We’ve known Katy for some time now and had the pleasure of meeting Justin the week before the wedding. They’re an absolutely wonderful couple that love each other and that’s why we loved partying with them.

Another same-site event, this one took place at the beautiful Henry Ford estate Weller’s in Saline, MI. And wouldn’t you know it: we got to work with our awesome photographer buddies Nick and Jesse D. Green again! 2 times in one year? WOW!

The reception was held in the carriage house and the dancing took place in the pavilion outside. The bridal party, bride and groom all entered the reception to "Midnight City" by the UK pop band M83.

Once dinner was all done, the party moved outside and the bride & groom shared their first dance to Coldplay’s “Swallowed in the Sea.” The next two dances (daddy/daughter and mother/son) were both Peter Gabriel songs: "Book of Love" and “Flume”, respectively.

The bride tossed her bouquet to all the waiting ladies to the hit "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen.

Thanks for having us along, friends! We can’t wait to see what the Big Man has in store for you two!
