Leigh & Matt’s wedding was set at the beautiful Cobblestone Farm in Ann Arbor, MI. It’s the second time we’ve been there and we love the location. The reception was set in the farm’s main building which has a very rustic, but elegant feel.
It was also the THIRD time this year that we’ve had the pleasure to work with our friends Nick and Jesse of Jesse D. Green Photography. It’s a proven fact that we work well with friends, and these guys are no exception.
The cocktail hour took place outside the farm and a two-piece instrumental duo provided music for that.
Once the party moved inside, the bridal party, bride, and groom entered the reception to "Boogie Shoes" by KC and the Sunshine Band.
The bride’s father welcomed everyone with a toast and a couple special gifts for the new husband and wife.
After dinner, the best man and maids of honor offered additional toasts to celebrate the occasion.
Once the toasts were done, the bride and groom shared their first dance to “Come Away With Me” by Norah Jones. Then, the bride and her father danced to a shortened version of “High Tide, Low Tide” by Bob Marley. Louis Armstrong’s classic “What a Wonderful World” was chosen for the groom and his mother to share a dance.
After all those, it was non-stop partying until 11:30. The dance floor was packed all night long and the guests were in to every single song. One of the hottest crowds we’ve had this year, for sure!
At 11:30, the bride and groom made their exit to a very special sparkler tunnel that was created on the ramp of the main barn.
All in all, we had a blast and say THANK YOU to Leigh and Matt for letting us share their big day with them!
