I’ve spent most of my time doing weddings for people that I’m meeting for the first time. I build relationships with my clients and through the planning process, we get to know each other eventually becoming friends.

This one was a little different.

When he asked me to DJ Lyndsay and his wedding I was more than happy to oblige. But I was also in the wedding party. And if you’re reading this wondering if I can juggle a schedule like that, don’t worry about a thing. The day was almost flawless (minus some lingering clouds and chilly weather) and the crowd was a mix of our closest family and friends.

The ceremony took place at the beautiful St. John Neumann Parish in Canton. The bride and groom looked stunning and the exchange of vows was probably one of the most emotional moments to date.

After a quick set of pictures at the church, we headed to a few different locations to take some pictures. The most elegant of them were taken at Canton’s Heritage Park. The beauty of the surroundings took the elegance to another level.

After a brief period of photo shoots, we headed over to the Italian American Club in Livonia. The room was absolutely beautiful. Everything from the place settings to the centerpieces were gorgeous. Thankfully, my dad Gary was on hand to fill in for the introductions as we entered the room to Chris Brown’s “Forever.”

With introductions complete, the best man and maid of honor gave their speeches, the meal was blessed, and then it was dinner time.

Dinner was completed and the bride and groom shared their first dance to “God Gave Me You” by Blake Shelton. Lyndsay danced with her dad, Branden danced with his mom, and the bridal party even got some time together on the dance floor.

All in all, I was excited that they asked me to be a part of their big night. Congratulations to Lyndsay and Branden!
