The first of two weddings this weekend, Amber and Earl had us along for their big day.

This was a first for us playing at the beautiful and historical Colony Club located in Downtown Detroit. Right off the 96/Grand River service drive, this venue is one of the classiest we have played since the beginning. It’s got rich Michigan history and was such an elegant setting for this reception.

We had the chance to work with Lindsey and Brandon of The Billings Photography. We’re excited to have made new friends, because these two are an absolute blast!

Alright…back to the order of events.

Amber and Earl wanted to start their party to Otis Redding’s “Can’t Turn You Loose.” What a great song from such a great movie (The Blues Brothers). Almost had a little church in there!

After dinner, the bride and groom shared their first dance to Mates of State’s “Like U Crazy.” Then, the bride and her father danced to “The Call” by Regina Spektor.

The night was a ton of fun. We got to meet new people, share great moments, and do it all under the roof of a historic piece of downtown Detroit.

Congrats again to Amber & Earl!
