Thanks again to a childhood friend, I was able to play for some really awesome people. My good friend Michon and the rest of the Andrews family had me along for another great night.

This wedding brought me back to the Italian American Banquet Center of Livonia. This place rocks, I gotta tell ya. The waitstaff, the management, the facility…everything is truly top notch. It was a quaint setup for a very warm room.

As the story goes, Michon’s brother Chad (the groom) was in need of a DJ. And, as fate would have it, she could think of no better person to play the wedding than that funny guy that used to live across the street. I was absolutely thrilled to get that call! I met with Christina and Chad and, well, the rest was a party.

The bridal party entered to a custom mix of Daft Punk and Justin Timberlake. I used a little bit of Daft Punk’s “Doin’ It Right” and the tail end of JT’s “Mirrors.” It was pretty hype!

The bride and groom made their way to the cake and got that out of the way. From there, it was toasts, a blessing, and dinner.

Once dinner was done, the bride and groom got things going on the dance floor by sharing their first dance to “Until the End of Time” by Justin Timberlake.

Christina and her dad danced to the classic “My Girl” by The Temptations.

Now, Chad and his mom’s dance started off nice and slow to Amanda Shane’s song “Song For Our Son” and then things got a little hectic. They broke out in to “The Wobble” and from there it was pure mayhem. The bridal party joined them on the dance floor and got everything moving.

Thanks to old friends for deep connections. I love all of you, Andrews family! Thanks for having me along.
